Rob lives and breathes databases. His colleagues assert that his XLST skills are amazing, and at least one admirer says, “No one – and I do mean no one – can write better XML than Rob Sullivan.” That’s a claim that he aims to retain and a tribute that has earned him the title of “Enterprise Data Magistrate of Databases.” He is motivated by the desire to build things that work – and that work very, very well. All in all, he says, his quest is to make databases and services live happily ever after and, in doing so, leverage data and system efficiencies to make the planet a better and more sustainable place to live.
